Sanwei Target

The Target is a fast offensive rubber made by chinese manufacturer Sanwei. The 39°-41° sponge is very soft, making it very suitable even for European topspin players. Thanks to its built-in speed glue effect, the target also has a good catapult effect.

Due to its playing characteristics, the Target is used more often on the forehand side in China. Nevertheless, players with a strong backhand can use this rubber on both sides. The rubber’s surface is typically Chinese, i. e. very grippy and slightly tacky.

It is this combination of a typical Chinese topsheet and a soft European/Japanese sponge that makes this rubber so interesting. The Target is the perfect forehand rubber for aggressive attackers relying on spin shots, smashing and counter-attacking.
