JOOLA Rhyzer 48 has a 48° sponge and is on the highest
level of development when speaking of speed, catapult and spin. It especially
suits modern offensive players exasperating their opponents with fast topspin
attacks close to the table and from half-distance. Compared to the Rhyzer 43
the topspin trajectory is a little flatter and provides high precision and
pressure, especially at offensive actions during the game.
JOOLA presents a completely new technically top
level rubber series - the new rubbers Rhyzer 48 and Rhyzer 43. They compensate
the peculiarity of a plastic ball - low speed and low spin. With two innovative
approaches, the improvement of sponge technology and the advancement of pimple
geometry, JOOLA is heading towards a total new dimension of rubber development.
The modified flight characteristics of the
plastic ball forced many players to correct familiar movement patterns,
representing a major challenge that in many cases lead to discontent with the
used material. This was the starting point for the development of this
completely new rubber series.
The new JOOLA Rhyzer has an extremely thin and
grippy surface, being under high tension because of its composition, in
combination with the narrow, relatively short pimples and larger gaps, this
leads to maximum catapult effect. In addition the flexible pimples
provide an extended dwell time of the ball, sensitive strokes and therefore
excellent spin features. Because of the smaller layer thickness of the upper
rubber, the JOOLA Rhyzer could be fitted with a thicker sponge in the Maximum
version. This „Powermax“ sponge provides an additional dynamics upgrade for the
Rhyzer. The large-pored, pink-coloured sponge further intensifies the power and
energy potential. Despite high dynamics the large pores still provide sensitive
touch and extra control in all playing situations.
